![]() Pallbearers will be Tim Clark, Todd Clark, Eric Tucker, Ronnie Brown, Ed Elder and Vaughn Ruth. at the Downing City Cemetery in Downing, Missouri with David Barton, Pastor of the Downing Baptist Church officiating. _ Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Februat 11:00 a.m. She was active in the Downing Baptist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Opportunity Club and Red Hatters. Until her health failed, she enjoyed sharing flowers and baked goods with friends and neighbors and making afghans as a Downing Depot fundraiser. Velma was a resident of Schuyler County, Missouri for 65 years, living on a farm north of Downing, Missouri and later in town until she moved to Keokuk, Iowa in 2006. Velma is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Edgar on Septemone sister, Emma Anderson and two brothers, Dale and Duane Johnson. Velma is survived by her two sons, Robert Clark and wife, Mary of Olympia, Washington and David Clark and wife, Jane of Keokuk, Iowa a daughter, Janet Tucker and husband, Loren of Hannibal, Missouri 7 grandchildren, Timothy Clark of Keokuk, Iowa, Todd Clark of Keokuk, Iowa, Brian Clark of Olympia, Washington, Brett Clark and wife Stacy of Ellensburg, Washington, Heather Tucker of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Stacie Tucker of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Eric Tucker and wife, Kelly of Amarillo, Texas 6 great grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Terran, Cullen and Annalise Clark and Kate Tucker 1 brother, Paul Johnson two nieces 1 nephew and other family members. On Jin Lake City, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Myrven Edgar Clark and to this union three children were born, Robert Edgar, William David and Janet Kay. The daughter of Martin and Iva (Pierce) Johnson, she was born on Jin Lake City, Iowa.
